Jesse Masson, Founder/LPC
I’ve been counseling (including video sessions) since 2012, and live in Kansas City with my wife and 3 children. I started Connected Counseling LLC, to offer professional in-office and teletherapy sessions to better serve clients. I earned my M.A. in Counseling from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and hold professional licensure (LPC) in both Kansas (2014) and Missouri (2019). My professional focus includes:
- Anxiety
- Grief
- Marriage
- Trauma/PTSD
Life is hard. Being in relationships is hard. I know it can be scary to sit with a counselor, as I too have sat down numerous times in therapy as the client – both individually and in marriage counseling with my wife. I regard myself as a “broken healer” on purpose to bring healthy change in the lives of my clients through personal and professional experience. I don’t have all the answers but I want to work with you to help identify the root issues causing your pain.
So whether you are seeking couple’s counseling or individual therapy, I am confident that you will find me to be an advocate for your healthiness and wellbeing. My Christian faith is a major component of my counseling, as I consider your personal comfort and concerns.
I’m here to help.
Schedule an appointment at your convenience or give me a call if you have any questions before we begin our journey together.

Becca Huff, LPC
I originally got into counseling because I was interested in counseling
missionaries overseas. I graduated with my M.A. from John Brown University in 2017 and have been counseling since 2019.
I started counseling teenagers in school, then began working at a therapeutic boarding school for at-risk teenage girls.
I counsel clients from adolescents to late adulthood. Familiar issues inclue ex-patriots and overseas adjustment, depression, anxiety, marriage, family and parenting, trauma, grief, and more.
Areas of focus:
Cultural transition issues
Family of origin
Anxiety
Trauma/Abuse
I do not take lightly the opportunity to be granted insight into other’s lives and pain. Although seeing
and beholding pain upfront is difficult, I understand the importance of walking with others in their suffering,
having been there myself. I know what it feels like to be alone in pain, and I strive to meet with every
client as a unique individual and with deep care.
